Start of School 2009

End of Summer

Hello All! It is officially the first day of school for the kids! Excitement, Nervousness, and Tired were the feelings around the house! Anthony is beginning his Senior year, Shelby is starting 8th grade and Rachel is excited for 5th grade. Jen will start working with me in a week and training to be a dental assistant. She is a hard worker and Dr. is willing to train her based on how fast she picks things up! I hope you enjoy the pictures and know we love and miss all of you!

Happy February to all my family and friends! I am sorry it has been so long since the blog was updated. Things in Springville are busy as ever. Just as everyone is. It is finally calving season:) We are having fun with the cute babies. I will get some pictures this weekend. It was far to muddy this last weekend I would have drowned in mud!

Jen is still working at Fanzz with Anthony and is needing your business for those in Utah! Provo Towne Mall:) Just call her to see when she is working! She is mostly into her modern dance and is in a group at UVU. Jen is hoping to start UVU in the fall.

Jordan will be 19 in May. She is going to school and working still in the bakery department at Albertsons in American Fork. Seems to be doing really well although we don't get to see her much with her busy schedule.

Anthony is in his Junior year of High School. He is doing ok but has Senioritis already! We are getting him registered for the ACT in April and trying to get classes set up for next year. He only needs 2 classes so we are trying to get some at UVU!

Shelby is in Junior High! 7th grade! Growing up too fast with friends and school. She is my big help at home. She works really hard to maintain her 4.0 grade point average. Sometimes I find myself saying it's ok not to have everything perfect. She is still dancing 2 days a week and looking forward to softball season!

Rachel is in 4th grade! We just finished her science fair project which was fun. We colored carnations with food coloring and 3 different kind of liquid. Water, canola oil, and milk. You will have to ask her the results!
Everyday these kids teach me more and more about themselves and myself. I am greatful for them in my life. I am very thankful for a good job that i enjoy what I do and who I work with. I also consider myself very lucky to have such a great family and friend support without them I would not be here today! Thats all for now. I will update with pictures next blog I promise!

Note to all who may care:

Hey guys,
This is Shelby Kate behind the monitor writing to all who may care. :) I have been missing EVERYBODY dearly!! I just wanted to update you on the life of me. Boring I know but this is to all who may care so.. here is where my life begins...
Okay i know what you all are going to ask..."How are you liking Jr. High?" (I get asked that ALOT, when people ask you the same question over and over it gets annoying) soo... i usually say something like this.."Its still school" They never understand what I mean but i will explain once and good.. OK... Well school is going great!! I have had straight A's on both terms and mid terms. I have started a new semester now and am liking the change! But its still school so I want it to be over so than i can have summer to myself!!
Soccer and softball season are both over (bummer) but i still have dance to keep me from going nuts. This year in one of my dances i get to do an AWESOME part!! Its a lift and way fun to do! But when i first started out (as in the first time doing the lift) I almost wet myself when they told me i was doing it! But i am doing very well in that matter!
The farm is doing very well. We are about to have two baby calf's born!! I know!! Crazy!! Why would you want to be born in the middle of winter!! (By the way i am HATING the snow!) But other than that the farm is very usual for winter..COLD!!
Goodbye for now,
Shelby Kate
