End of Summer
Hello All! It is officially the first day of school for the kids! Excitement, Nervousness, and Tired were the feelings around the house! Anthony is beginning his Senior year, Shelby is starting 8th grade and Rachel is excited for 5th grade. Jen will start working with me in a week and training to be a dental assistant. She is a hard worker and Dr. is willing to train her based on how fast she picks things up! I hope you enjoy the pictures and know we love and miss all of you!
Rachel would say "potatoes are better than gold because you
can't eat gold!"
I am affraid the excitement faded after a while digging up the potatoes for the girls! At first they were excited yelling "We hit the jackpot!" It wasn't more than twenty minutes later they were asking exactly how many potatoes did we have to find? Hence the two separate pictures can you tell? This was our first attempt at potatoes! We obviously have quite a bit to learn or better yet some soil work to do. We harvested quite a lot but they were fairly small. I am sure we will have better luck next year! Poor Jenessa and Anthony missed all the fun of digging in the dirt. After harvesting we went Pheasant hunting with Ozzy then finished the evening with a BBQ. Anthony is quite the BBQ chef and Rachel abosulutely loves to eat WILD BIRDS! She must take after her dad in that respect.
